This historic research report, prepared for HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research by a team at the University of Illinois with funding from the Ford Foundation, is an investigation into factors contributing to resident satisfaction at 37 low- and moderate-income assisted housing sites. The authors examine a variety of factors, ranging from the physical design of the properties to management decisions made by administration, and attempt to associate these factors with the satisfaction of residents.

This report is part of the collection of scanned historical documents available to the public.
